Jeff Nagler serves as President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Studio Operations. Nagler, who has held this post since February 1, 2020, is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of all studio facilities and backlot operations. This includes all physical production, post-production and studio services on the Warner Bros. studio lots in Burbank and at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the UK. Nagler and his team are also responsible for charting the physical development and strategic plans for these studios.
Additionally, under Nagler’s leadership, WBSO operates several direct-to-consumer businesses, including two best-in-class studio tours with the award-winning Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, and the highly regarded Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. The group also operates a thriving collection of retail stores, including the tour shops, the Platform 9¾ group of shops and a flagship retail store – Harry Potter New York – opening in Manhattan in 2020.
Under Nagler’s direction, Warner Bros. Studio Operations (WBSO) runs the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production operations in the world. The Burbank studio lots comprise more than 140 acres and are home to 36 sound stages, 14 exterior sets, a complete range of production-related rental and service departments, and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.
Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, a 200-acre production facility outside London, opened in 2012 and includes 16 sound stages and support services for Warner Bros., HBO, Warner Media and third-party productions. This studio is also home to the hugely popular Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.
WBSO also provides robust, award-winning post-production creative services, with full-service facilities in Burbank, New York and London. The talented teams at these sound and picture finishing facilities serve the creative needs of the industry on a worldwide scale in sound editorial and mixing, scoring, ADR, foley, digital intermediates and mastering, digital dailies, restoration and many other related services.
Nagler most recently served as Executive Vice President of Warner Bros. Studio Operations, a role he was promoted to in 2001. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs, and Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs, for this group.
Nagler began his career as an attorney with the Los Angeles law firm Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger. He received his JD from UCLA Law School and his undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Binghamton.
