Jeff Goldstein
Jeff Goldstein serves as President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, with full responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of Warner Bros. Pictures’ domestic distribution activities, including release dating and patterns, business strategy, sales and administration, specialty/premium formats and exhibitor relations, throughout the United States and Canada. Goldstein and his team handle a varied film slate each year that includes titles produced or acquired by Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and DC Studios. A well-respected distribution executive, Goldstein was promoted to this role in September 2016.
Since 2016, the Warner Bros. Pictures Group has earned over $10 billion at the domestic box office with such hits as “Wonder Woman,” “The Batman,” “Joker,” “Aquaman,” “It,” “A Star Is Born,” “Dunkirk,” “Crazy Rich Asians,” “Elvis” and “Dune.” Warner Bros. Pictures has had 49 films open at the top of the box office since 2016 and 36 titles cross $100 million domestically.
In summer 2023, Goldstein and his team handled North American release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Barbie,” which set numerous studio and industry records, including crossing the coveted $1 billion benchmark in just 17 days of release; daily, weekly and weekend box office highs; and being the Studio’s fastest film to reach $400 million domestically and $500 million internationally.
Additional highlights of the 2023 release slate include “Meg 2: The Trench,” “Blue Beetle,” “The Nun 2,” “Dune: Part 2,” “Wonka,” “The Color Purple” and “Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom.” This breadth of titles highlights Warner Bros.’ commitment to serving all audiences at the cineplex, while also working with top creative talent across every genre.
Prior to his promotion, Goldstein was Executive Vice President and General Sales Manager, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures. Goldstein joined Warner Bros. Pictures as an intern in the Los Angeles office before relocating to the company’s regional offices in Florida, Ohio and Massachusetts. Throughout his career at Warner Bros., Goldstein has been continually promoted, rising through the ranks from regional branch manager to his current role as divisional president.
He is a graduate of Syracuse University.
