
Leslie Morgenstein is President and Founder of Alloy Entertainment, which was acquired by Warner Bros. in 2012. He oversees the company’s strategy and creative mission. Prior to the company’s acquisition, Morgenstein had served as president of Alloy Entertainment and its predecessor, 17th Street Productions, Inc., since 1999.
Morgenstein produces or executive produces Alloy Entertainment’s television series and feature films. Alloy is currently in production on an impressive four series, including “You,” “Legacies,” “Gossip Girl” and “The 100.” Alloy is currently in active development on more than a dozen series, including “Pride,” “The Beach,” “Midnighters,” “American Royals” and “If I Was Your Girl.”
Alloy also produced the feature films “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and its sequel, “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” “Everything, Everything,” “Good Girls Get High” and “The Sun Is Also A Star.” Alloy is currently in active development on “Horrorscope,” “Taking Flight,” “Survive the Night,” “Purple Hearts,” “The Merciless,” “Frankly in Love,” “Pyrates” and “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3.” Production recently wrapped on “Work It.”
Alloy’s publishing division creates and produces approximately twenty-five titles a year and has had over eighty New York Times best-sellers, including recent hits ”American Royals,” “Frankly in Love” and “The Sun is Also a Star.”
Morgenstein has an undergraduate degree in writing and photography from Sarah Lawrence College, an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and completed his master’s in English and creative writing at The City College of New York. He divides his time between New York City and Los Angeles and is an avid runner.
