On February 5, 2020, we said goodbye to one of the giants of Hollywood’s Golden Age, when Kirk Douglas passed away at the age of 103. Douglas and Minnelli would collaborate again on what was a passion project for both of them: the classic drama "Lust for Life" (1956). One of the most beautiful color films of its era, this biopic of Vincent Van Gogh features one of Douglas’s greatest performances, notable for his stunning depiction of mental and physical anguish.
