R.I.P. Darwyn Cooke

The comics, animation and art world lost a giant this past weekend. On Friday the family of Darwyn Cooke announced that the legendary artist was receiving palliative care for aggressive cancer. The following morning they issued another statement that he had passed away. Fans across the globe are mourning the man who is best-known for shaping the DC Universe with his graceful and stylish renderings. He had recently launched the acclaimed The Twilight Children with co-creator Gilbert Hernandez, which was widely considered to be nothing short of a dream team pairing.
