True Blood: Season 2

The saga of Sookie Stackhouse is reaching bloody new heights in Season Two of the HBO hit vampire series. With the residents of Bon Temps coming under the control of the devious Maryann Forrester, it's up to the perky telepathic waitress (played by Anna Paquin), her blood-sucking soulmate Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and her shape-shifting boss Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) to stave off the threat. Meanwhile, Sookie's roguish brother Jason finds a new purpose in life with the anti-vampire sect Fellowship of the Sun; Lafayette tries to escape the shackles of vampire sheriff Eric; Sam sparks a relationship with a strange new waitress; and Tara forges an amnesia-filled romance with Eggs, one of Maryann's wards.
