More than a year has passed since Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, but residents of the Crescent City are finding it harder than ever to rebuild their lives. So why bother to stay? Because it's New Orleans. As Season Two picks up, life has become even tougher for the musicians, restaurateurs, radio deejays and community leaders who were introduced in the first season. Some have left the city, others are being forced to sell, and crime, drug use, corruption and graft are threatening the city's recovery. But those who remain continue to show the proud and defiant spirit that defines the city as they press forward, committed to holding on to their ideal of what New Orleans is, and should be
