A talented wedding photographer, at a crossroads with his own marriage, reflects on tales of past clients and the hope, adversity and romance that holy matrimony brings in Marriage Is Alive and Well.

Starring as the photographer Brian Fish, football great Joe Namath narrates the unconventional tales of three couples: Judd Hirsch and Melinda Dillon as a twosome who have married and divorced multiple times and are on the verge of repeating the same mistakes; a newlywed couple who prefer the "freedom" that living together allows; and Jack Albertson as an aging comedian who wants to marry his much younger secretary (Jeannie Wilson) despite the disapproval of his son.

Also starring Swoosie Kurtz, Joanna Kerns, Nicholas Pryor, and Mel Stewart. Written by Lee Kalcheim, Marriage Is Alive and Well also includes the title track written by Tony Award winner Sheldon Harnick and music by Academy Award winner Fred Karlin.
