Mama’s family follows Thelma “Mama” Harper, the lovable matriarch whose home is filled with members of her extended, eternally squabbling family. In season five, the zany escapades in their blue-collar Midwestern suburb continue as Mama gets arrested, the electric company turns the power off, and Mama plans her own funeral.
