God Friended Me: Season 1

In this humorous, uplifting drama, an outspoken atheist has his life turned upside down when he is “friended” by God and unwittingly becomes an agent of change in the lives of others around him. The son of a minister, Miles Finer is intelligent, hopeful and optimistic. But he doesn’t believe in God, which puts him at odds with his father. Searching for his purpose in life, Miles feels he might have found it in his podcast. But all that changes when he’s mysteriously “friended” by “God.” Following repeated, insistent friend suggestions, Miles soon encounters Cara Bloom, an online journalist. Brought together by the “God Account,” the two soon find themselves on a journey with no real roadmap, investigating God’s friend suggestions and inadvertently helping others in need. An aspirational series about faith, family and humanity, GOD FRIENDED ME is a lighthearted story about hope and connection.
