B Positive: Season 2
B POSITIVE is from award-winning executive producers Chuck Lorre and Marco Pennette, and stars Emmy® Award nominee Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford (Masters of Sex). The comedy revolves around Drew (Middleditch), a therapist and newly divorced dad who is faced with finding a kidney donor when he runs into Gina (Ashford), a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers her own.
Gina is a working-class woman who is larger than life in every sense - most importantly, her heart. She lives in her mother's basement, drives a senior citizen van for a living, and makes rash decisions - including giving Drew her kidney. Together, Gina and Drew form an unlikely and life-affirming friendship as they begin a journey that will forever impact both of their lives.
Kether Donohue stars as Gabby, Gina's best friend a party girl who can still keep up with the 20-somethings but now pays for it the next day. She doesn't sweat the small stuff, lives for today and just looks to have a good time. Her jobs consist of assistant manager at a retail clothing store, jewelry designer and bartender.
Sara Rue stars as Julia, Drew's ex-wife. Ambitious and a social climber, Julia is a local real estate agent who believes she deserves to live in the fabulous homes she tries to sell. She tried to tolerate her ex-husband Drew's "idiosyncrasies," but she eventually acted out in the form of an affair.
Izzy G. Stars as Maddie, the teenage daughter of Drew and Julia who's a wise-beyond-her-years parent to her own parents. Terrence Terrell stars as Eli, a new friend of Drew's who is also going through dialysis.
The series is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television with Chuck Lorre, Marco Pennette and Jim Patterson serving as executive producers.
