Yotam Ben-Ami Promoted To Vice President, Worldwide Anti-Piracy Operations – North America, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
(January 7, 2005 – Burbank, CA) - Yotam Ben-Ami has been promoted to Vice President, Worldwide Anti-piracy Operations – North America, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., it was announced today by Darcy Antonellis, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Anti-piracy Operations, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc.
Ben-Ami will oversee all North American anti-piracy operations as well as manage strategic worldwide anti-piracy initiatives and projects, working closely with Warner Bros. Entertainment’s anti-piracy regional teams and business units.
“Yotam’s valuable combination of international experience and strong analytical background via business development is an essential resource to the Anti-Piracy Group, both in North America and abroad,” said Antonellis.
Ben-Ami joined the Company in 2002 as Manager, Corporate Business Development & Strategy, before becoming one of the core members of the newly created Worldwide Anti-piracy Operations unit led by Antonellis.
Prior to joining Warner Bros. Entertainment, Ben-Ami worked for McKinsey & Company specializing in telecommunications and e-commerce. He also worked for Cellcom, Israel’s leading cellular communications provider.
A graduate of the Tel-Aviv University School of Law, Ben-Ami was an attorney with the firm of S. Pines, Harmelech, Milner.
Prior to that, he spent three years in the Israeli Military Intelligence.
In addition to his law degree, Ben-Ami holds an MBA in International Business from the Anderson School at UCLA.# # #
