Studios most-celebrated sound stage. With the focus on food, the biggest star at the restaurant is the menu, which features a variety of sophisticated offerings that reflect Mediterranean, Asian, European and American influences. The sophisticated menu includes tempting appetizers such as Escargot & Wild Mushrooms sautéed in scampi butter with a french bread tower, and innovative entrees like the Lobster and Wild Mushroom Strudel with baby greens and vanilla Stoli butter. Even sandwiches are extraordinary at WB Stage 16 Restaurant with choices such as the Honey Glazed Turkey and Gorgonzola “Santa Barbara” served lightly warmed with green apple relish on toasted walnut bread and the Grilled Portabella and Buffalo Mozzarella Panni served open faced with roasted red peppers and garlic mayonnaise. “For more than 75 years Warner Bros. has provided some of the world’s most memorable and entertaining films,” said Dan Romanelli, President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Consumer Products. “From Gold Diggers to Gotham, the Golden Age of Hollywood to the digital age, WB Stage 16 Restaurant provides a rare behind-the scenes glimpse of four film classics.” Behind the giant doors of WB Stage 16 Restaurant, four of Hollywood’s most memorable and award-winning Warner Bros. Pictures productions have been replicated as backdrops for an unrivaled dining experience. Diners can choose to be seated in “Rick’s Café Americain” from “Casablanca,” a “Las Vegas Lounge” from “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Gotham City” from the Batman movies and on the “We’re in the Money” set from “Gold Diggers of 1933.” The sets were reproduced on the famous Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, Calif., using archival drawings and photographs to replicate the backdrops, props, decor and ambiance of the original films. “The design of the restaurant is in keeping with the tradition of the great settings created for Warner Bros. films over the years,” said WB Stage 16 designer Ed Strang, who has over 600 motion picture credits and a family tradition of scenic art that dates to the 1930’s at Warner Bros. “My grandfather worked on both ‘Casablanca’ and ‘Gold Diggers of 1933’ and my father worked on ‘Ocean’s Eleven.’ It was a tremendous experience for me to bring these sets to life again in this incredible venue.” WB Stage 16 Restaurant also boasts two energetic cocktail areas. The provocative “Jack’s Velvet Lounge” features intimate living room-style seating and a panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip. A second bar features the hippest drinks and the hottest music in town. A 125-seat, state-of-the-art, private screening room is available for special events and will be the site for numerous WB Stage 16 Restaurant exclusive engagements. The screening room features its own private bar and amenities. The original Stage 16 is the largest soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studios lot in Burbank. During the soundstage’s seventy years of operation, it has been home to many classic Warner Bros. Pictures’ productions including “The Jazz Singer,” “The Old Man and The Sea,” “PT 109,” “The Goonies,” “Blazing Saddles” and “My Fair Lady.” WB Stage 16 Restaurant is a joint venture between WB Soundstage LLC and ENIC, plc.
