Weekend Broadcast Window For Bruckheimer Powerhouses “Without A Trace” And “Cold Case” Sold In Major Markets By Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution
(December 10, 1004 – Burbank, CA) – Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution has sold the weekend broadcast window for the Jerry Bruckheimer/CBS Productions/Warner Bros. Television procedural dramas “Without a Trace” and “Cold Case” to the Viacom Television Stations Group, it was announced today by Jim Paratore, President, Telepictures Productions and Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
The weekend runs of “Without a Trace” will debut in fall 2006; “Cold Case” will debut in fall 2007. The series will air on Viacom stations in the following cities: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Atlanta, Detroit, Seattle, Tampa, Minneapolis, Miami, Denver, Sacramento, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Columbus (OH), Salt Lake City, West Palm Beach, Norfolk, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Providence, Austin and Green Bay.
“Jerry Bruckheimer is one of the hottest producers working today and these series are proof that he knows what audiences are looking for and will tune in for,” said Paratore. “We’re confident that these series will strengthen the Viacom station’s weekend lineups wherever they’re placed.”
"Without a Trace" is a riveting procedural drama about the New York Missing Persons Squad of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. “Cold Case” follows smart, driven Detective Lilly Rush, who reopens dormant, unsolved homicides that occurred years or even decades ago. Both series are produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with CBS Productions and Warner Bros. Television Production Inc.
As previously announced, both series will air Monday through Friday on TNT, with “Without a Trace” debuting fall 2006 and “Cold Case” fall 2007.
