The Horn of Africa is in the midst of the worst hunger crisis in over 60 years. With over 9 million in need of immediate assistance, We Can Be Heroes is the first and largest corporate commitment made to the Horn since the crisis was declared in July 2011. DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. are using their global distribution networks to raise funds and awareness of the crisis. Launching the text 2 give effort at WonderCon, one of the country's best comics and pop culture conventions, leverages DC Entertainment’s fan base to engage in the campaign and spread the word. We Can Be Heroes spokespersons will be onsite at WonderCon for interviews and comment on the campaign efforts on March 16-18, 2012 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA – Booth 501.
