The WB Seeks Contestants For The Adventure Of A Lifetime On New Reality Series “No Boundaries”
(April 5, 2001 – Burbank, CA) — The WB Network is looking for adventure-seekers who have what it takes to brave the elements on a trek across some of North America’s most rugged terrain and compete in a new reality adventure series, “NO BOUNDARIES.” Entry forms and additional information are available on TheWB.com; the deadline for submissions is April 30, 2001.
“You don’t need to be able to run a marathon or have extensive adventure sports training to participate in the ‘NO BOUNDARIES’ experience,” said executive producers Brady Connell and Jim Jusko. “Teamwork and leadership will be the qualities that win this competition.”
Starting production on 13 episodes in July, “NO BOUNDARIES” follows approximately 15 contestants whose navigation skills and raw courage are put to the ultimate test. Only the most resilient and resourceful will prevail. The producers are looking for a diverse group of men and women in excellent physical and mental health with a wide variety of interests, experiences, lifestyles and personalities.
These individuals will travel north over a thousand miles through spectacular wilderness and breathtaking scenery. The empowering 30-day journey across the unforgiving terrain may require these strangers to test their skills in river rafting, canoeing, rappelling, mountain biking, sea kayaking, glacier trekking and dog-sledding if they hope to claim the grand prize. In the end, only one competitor will remain, and will receive a cash prize and a new sport utility vehicle.
Brady Connell (“Survivor,” “Eco-Challenge,” “The Amazing Race”) and Jim Jusko (“Air Bud,” “I Fought the Law”) will serve as executive producers of “NO BOUNDARIES,” which is based on the popular European reality series “71 Degrees North.” “NO BOUNDARIES” is a production of Lions Gate Television. # # #
