On August 11, 1919 Curly Lambeau and George Calhoun gathered in the dingy editorial room of the old Green Bay Press-Gazette building on Cherry Street and organized a football team. They didn’t know it then, but that was the beginning of the incredible journey known as the Green Bay Packers. “The Greatest Games” DVD is comprised of classic games as voted on by the fans, including the win in Super Bowl XXXI over the New England Patriots, Brett Favre’s incredible performance just days following the death of his father and the highest scoring game in Monday Night Football history.
“We are excited to release the ‘NFL Greatest Games Series: Green Bay Packers’ to the fans who voted on the ten greatest games to include,” said Eddie Scannell, WHV Director of Sports Marketing. “Working with the Packers has been the key in connecting with the passion of Green Bay football fans, among the most loyal in all of sports.”
