Warner Home Video Releases A Newly Remastered Deluxe Edition Of “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown” On DVD September 7, 2010

(May 17, 2010 – Burbank, CA) – What happens when the always lovable and usually well-behaved Snoopy turns into a disobedient beagle? The result is a delightful, Emmy Award®-nominated television special titled “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown,” to be released on DVD September 7, 2010 by Warner Home Video (WHV). The special will be available to consumers in a newly re-mastered deluxe edition that includes a bonus episode and featurette. “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown Deluxe Edition” will retail for $19.98. Order due date has been set for August 3, 2010. “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown” finds Snoopy returning to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm for a refresher course in obedience training after his mischievous behavior lands Charlie Brown in trouble. The entire Peanuts gang loses their patience after enduring Snoopy’s endless succession of pranks. Frustrated, Charlie Brown has no choice but to enroll Snoopy in an obedience class. Instead of staying at the puppy farm however, Snoopy finds refuge in Peppermint Patty’s house, that’s until Charlie Brown gets a phone call informing him Snoopy never showed up for his training. “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown” originally premiered in 1968 as a primetime television special. The program earned an Emmy Award® nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Children’s Programming. DVD Special Features Include: “Life is a Circus, Charlie Brown” – This bonus episode finds Snoopy joining the circus when he falls for one of its performers, a white poodle named Fifi. Snoopy soon becomes a star performer, doing tricks on the unicycle, high wire and trapeze, and he’s renamed “Hugo the Great.” In the meantime, Charlie Brown is left distraught by Snoopy’s decision. What he doesn’t know however, is that for Snoopy, show business isn’t all its cracked up to be. Will Snoopy ever return home or will the lure of stardom and his love for Fifi keep him from Charlie Brown? “Life is a Circus, Charlie Brown” earned an Emmy-Award for Outstanding Animated Program. “Snoopy’s Ice Home” – The story of the Redwood Empire Ice Arena. “Generations of viewers have been captivated by Peanuts, and we are proud to keep the franchise going strong by offering such beloved specials as ‘He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown’ on DVD,” said Amit Desai, WHV Vice President of Family, Animation and Partner Brands Marketing.
