Warner Home Video And NFL Films Set To Release “NFL New York Jets Best Games Of 2009 Season” On June 1, 2010
(March 17, 2010 – Burbank, CA) – The 2009 season was supposed to be one of transition for Gang Green with new head coach Rex Ryan and rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez at the helm, but to everyone’s surprise it turned into one of the most raucous and thrilling seasons in New York Jets history. A season that began with several question marks ended with the Jets one game away from Super Bowl XLIV. Now, Warner Home Video (WHV), the National Football League (NFL) and NFL Films are getting set to release the “NFL New York Jets Best Games of 2009 Season” DVD set featuring three of their most memorable victories of the season. Jets fans will be soaring into stores on June 1, 2010 when the three-disc DVD collector’s set goes on sale for $26.95 SRP. Order due date is April 27, 2010.
The “NFL New York Jets Best Games of 2009 Season” DVD features the original network broadcasts of the Jets’ memorable victory over division rival Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Week 2, Mark Sanchez’s coming-out party in the exciting AFC Wild Card playoff win over the Cincinnati Bengals and the thrilling AFC Divisional playoff upset victory over the San Diego Chargers that sent the Jets to the AFC Championship game. These three wins were signature moments in a season that saw the Jets become a legitimate contender in the AFC while showing everyone that these are not the “Same Old Jets” anymore.
