Warner Bros. Studio Tour London Appoints Geoff Spooner as General Manager

(June 20, 2016 – Leavesden) – Geoff Spooner has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President and General Manager, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Reporting to Sarah Roots (SVP, Warner Bros. Worldwide Tours) Geoff, who is currently General Manager at Warwick Castle, will take up the position in July.

“As the businesses both here and in Hollywood continue to grow, I wanted to appoint a VP and General Manager to head-up the UK tour,” commented Sarah Roots. “The role will encompass day-to-day management and also the development of new business initiatives. Geoff’s track record in successfully managing attractions, his commitment to quality and his commercial focus make him the perfect choice for this new position.”

Geoff became GM of Warwick Castle Limited in August 2013 and during his tenure was responsible for introducing attraction accommodation, expanding the F&B offering and developing heritage restoration projects. Previously he was Operations Director at LEGOLAND Windsor and before that worked at National Express and the London Eye.
