Warner Bros. Online To Host "Get Carter" World Premiere Webcast October 4 And Internet Chat With Sylvester Stallone October 5

(October 2, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – Two Internet events tied to the release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ action thriller "Get Carter" -- a live streaming Webcast of the movie’s world premiere and an exclusive chat with the film's star, Sylvester Stallone – are being hosted by Warner Bros. Online October 4 and 5. Warner Bros. Online (www.warnerbros.com) will stream exclusive live coverage of the film’s premiere Wednesday, October 4 starting at 7:00 PM, PT, including interviews with the star-studded cast as they make their way down the red carpet. On hand for the event will be "Get Carter" stars Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine (who starred in the original 1971 version of "Get Carter"), Alan Cumming, Mickey Rourke, Rhona Mitra, Johnny Strong and Gretchen Mol. On Thursday, October 5 at 5:00 PM, PT/8:00 PM, ET, Warner Bros. Online will host an hour-long live chat with celebrated action-hero Sylvester Stallone, which can be joined via the Web at either www.getcartermovie.com or www.warnerbros.com. Exclusive footage of the premiere as well as a transcript of the chat will be available on Warner Bros. Online’s Web site throughout the film’s release. "Get Carter" opens nationwide on Friday, October 6. "Get Carter" is a new action thriller about a man who's spent his whole life collecting for other people — debts, agendas, and retribution. But when his brother is killed in an accident, Jack Carter heads home ... to the family he abandoned, to the debts that were never paid, and a mystery that will take him to the center of his own soul. For Jack, the trip home to Seattle is a second chance to make amends for past mistakes. He re-connects with his brother's wife and her teenage daughter and discovers that his brother’s death has murder written all over it.
