Warner Bros. Online Debuts All-New “Gotham Girls” Shorts

(June 15, 2001 – Burbank) - The fearless females of Gotham City are back with 10 new installments of the highly popular Warner Bros. Online animated hit, “Gotham Girls,” the first of which debuts today. The vivacious vixens, which include Batgirl and her felonious foes -- Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and Catwoman -- once again demonstrate that brains coupled with a little female ingenuity go a long way. Exclusive to Warner Bros. Online, the Flash-animated “Gotham Girls” debuted last July and features the voice talents of Arleen Sorkin as Harley Quinn, Adrienne Barbeau as Catwoman, Diane Pershing as Poison Ivy and Tara Strong as Batgirl. The serial follows the nefarious escapades of the treacherous trio as they wreak havoc in Gotham City, and Batgirl’s efforts to bring them all to justice – with somewhat mixed results. In the first of the new installments, the sorceress Zatanna (voiced by Stacie Randall), enlists Catwoman’s help in retrieving a white tiger stolen from her by a group of kidnappers. New installments of “Gotham Girls” will debut bi-weekly at www.warnerbros.com.
