Warner Bros. Online And entertaindom.com Name Jordan Sollitto Chief Marketing Officer

(August 2, 2000 – Glendale, CA) - Jordan Sollitto has been named Chief Marketing Officer, Warner Bros. Online and Entertaindom, it was announced today by Kevin Tsujihara, Executive Vice President, New Media, Warner Bros. As the key hire to head marketing for both original online entertainment sites, Sollitto will be responsible for Entertaindom's and Warner Bros. Online's overall branding, advertising, strategic partnering and creative execution of the site campaigns. Sollitto's recent projects for Entertaindom include "Garry Trudeau's Duke2000" campaign, the "15 Seconds of Fame" online showcase, and "Mission:Imp", a "Mission:Impossible 2" parody starring Verne "Mini-Me" Troyer, which resulted in the first offline major brand (Winchell's) tie-in for an online film, as well as a major advertising campaign in Time Warner publications. Sollitto has been a key marketing executive at Warner Bros. since 1993 where his management and expertise has been utilized in entertainment and media marketing, international operations, strategic vision, high level negotiations and sales and sales promotion management. During his tenure he has served as Senior Vice President of Promotions and Studio Store Marketing; he has also served as Senior Vice President of Promotions and Vice President of Promotions and Branded Foods and Managing Director of Latin America. In Promotions and Studio Store Marketing, Sollitto has been a key player in the promotional tie-ins for film, TV and animation properties. Sollitto also initiated Warner Bros.' alliance with the automotive industry, resulting in a major agreement with General Motors Corp., and the negotiation and launch of the first-ever entertainment co-branded vehicle, The Chevy Venture Warner Bros. Edition. Sollitto was also involved in other high-profile promotional licensing efforts, such as the Warner Bros. deal with MCI that paired Michael Jordan with the Looney Tunes characters, as well as many tie-ins with the food industry.
