Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Signs Multi-Year Free TV Volume Deal With TVN Poland’s Leading Commercial Broadcaster

(April 5, 2006 - Burbank, CA & Warsaw) – Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) has signed a multi-year free television volume deal with TVN S.A. (TVN), the leading commercial television broadcaster in Poland, it was announced today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television and Piotr Walter, President, TVN. The multi-year agreement, which was negotiated on behalf of WBITD by Nicky Wood, Sales Director, Eastern Europe and South Africa, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, marks a continuation of a long-running partnership between the two companies, first established in 1998, and gives TVN the right to air motion pictures and television series from Warner Bros. “We are pleased to continue our outstanding relationship with TVN,” said Schlesinger. “TVN has done a terrific job of presenting our film and TV programs to the viewing audience in Poland, and we look forward to continued success.” “We are very happy to be able to bring such a great content to the Polish viewers,” said Walter. “Warner Bros. has been doing a tremendous job over past several year and we look forward to further benefit from this cooperation.” The pact includes rights to Warner Bros.’ feature film output (including such films as "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," "The Last Samurai," "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolutions," among others), new television series to premiere on TVN ("Invasion," "Supernatural" and "Close to Home," to name a few), the renewal of series under current license (including "Cold Case," "Nip/Tuck," "The O.C." and "Without a Trace"), animated programs, and content from the Warner Bros. library (TVN is re-broadcasting the long-running comedy phenomenon "Friends").
