Warner Bros. International Television Distribution And Indonesia’s TV7 Sign Free Television Deal
(February 27, 2003 – Burbank, CA & Jakarta, Indonesia) – Warner Bros. International Television Distribution has signed a multi-year deal with Indonesia’s Pt. Duta Visual Nusantara Tivi Tujuh for the free television rights to a package of feature films, television series, animated series, TV movies, miniseries and documentaries for broadcast on the company’s channel TV7. The announcement was made today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television, and Agung Adiprasetyo, Managing Director, Pt. Duta Visual Nusantara Tivi Tujuh.
The deal, which was negotiated on behalf of Warner Bros. International Television Distribution by Greg Robertson, Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution & Managing Director, Warner Bros. Australia, Pty Ltd., includes the broadcast rights to several feature films (including “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” “The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship of the Rings,” “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Cats & Dogs” and “Training Day”), as well as numerous library titles. In addition, the deal includes television series (including “Everwood,” “The Bachelorette,” “Jamie Kennedy Experiment” and “Baby Looney Tunes”), TV movies and miniseries and documentaries.
