Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to Realign Operations to Enhance Focus on Product, Slate and Emerging Markets
(May 22, 2014 – Burbank, CA) – Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced a strategic management realignment to better position it for growth, with changes designed to increase top-line global revenue and manage the continued digital transformation. This realignment was announced today by Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
As part of the management realignment, David Haddad has been named to the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Publishing Operations, reporting to Tremblay. In this new role, Haddad will be responsible for driving all revenue activities across WBIE’s live and console game businesses as well as supporting the digital transition. Reporting to Haddad are worldwide sales and distribution for console and digital games, digital publishing, live publishing and business intelligence.
“Over the last seven years, WBIE has experienced tremendous growth and great success in building several top game franchises,” said Tremblay. “In order to continue on this trajectory, we are mapping new strategies across the company to increase revenue and stay on top of the digital transition. David’s new role is the first step to take our operations to the next level.”

Haddad most recently served as Senior Vice President, Digital Publishing, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, a post he’d held since joining the company a year ago. He has more than 25 years of online, entertainment and games experience, having previously served as COO of Activision/Blizzard’s “Guitar Hero” business. He was also COO of Sierra Online for Vivendi Games. He has also held leadership roles at Liveplanet, Etoys, Mattel and The Walt Disney Company.
