Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group Names Stefan Lampinen Managing Director, Nordic Region

(December 5, 2011 – Stockholm, Sweden; Burbank, CA; London, UK) – Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group has named Stefan Lampinen as Managing Director, Nordics, it was announced today by Jim Wuthrich, President, International, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. Lampinen will oversee all of the company's operations in the Nordic region and will be responsible for establishing and delivering a clear vision and strategy for the future of Warner Bros.' Nordic operations, maximising current business efficiencies and commercial opportunities, driving and developing a fully integrated marketing and sales function, and leading the digital transition for the region. He has spent several years in London, but will be based in Stockholm and report directly to Jim Wuthrich, President, International, Warner Bros Home Entertainment Group. He will work in close collaboration with the global Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group executive team. Jim Wuthrich, President, International, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group said, "Stefan Lampinen brings with him a wealth of experience, and exceptional knowledge of the industry, and I have every confidence that he will strengthen our position in the region." Lampinen joins the company from a role as Managing Director for Game Advisor Ltd, a business development agency within the games and connected entertainment sector. Prior to this, he spent five years working for Microsoft's Entertainment & Devices division, initially in the role as Sales Manager Europe and later as Senior Regional Director for Emerging Markets EMEA. Lampinen has also worked as Business Development Director at Nokia and spent eight years working for Electronic Arts where he established the company's first ever business in the Nordics. In addition he held the positions of Vice President Sales Europe and later as Managing Director for Central Europe, based in Köln. About Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group: Warner Bros.
