Warner Bros. Consumer Products Opens Argentina Office
(December 11, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – Demonstrating its continued commitment to the Latin American marketplace, Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced today the opening of an office in Argentina. Mary Hume has been appointed General Manager of the office, which will begin official operations on January 1, 2001. The announcement was made by Mark Matheny, Executive Vice President, International Licensing, Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
The new office will service Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ local and regional licensees based in Argentina and provide support for the company’s Argentinean retail partners. The office will also work closely with other Warner Bros. offices based in Argentina, such as Warner Home Video, Warner Music, Warner Bros. Theatrical Distribution and
Cartoon Network.

Consumer Products office, we will be positioned to work more closely with our sister divisions and partners in Argentina.”

Mary Hume has been appointed General Manager for the Warner Bros. Consumer Products Argentina office and will report directly to Ludovisi. She will oversee all facets of licensing sales, retail marketing, promotions and corresponding operational aspects in Argentina. Additionally, Hume will manage Warner Bros. Consumer Products personnel, identify and secure product placement opportunities, track licensee contracts and oversee the brand assurance process.
Prior to joining the company, Hume was the Regional Marketing Manager of Kellogg’s Argentina. She also has past experience working with noted consumer brands such as Heinz and Citibank and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
