Warner Bros. Consumer Products Arrives at Licensing Expo 2014 With Timeless Brands and Global Programs

Consumer Products (WBCP) arrives at Licensing Expo 2014 with its impressive vault of powerhouse properties, including theatrical tentpoles, fan-favorite classics, milestone anniversaries and the global expansion of its themed entertainment business, as the lineup of partners and a myriad of programs help drive the company’s licensing, merchandising and retail business in 2014 and beyond.
On the heels of Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ hugely successful film “Godzilla,” which hit theaters this spring, master toy partner Bandai America Incorporated and licensing partners around the world are sustaining excitement for the “King of the Monsters” with a vast product line-up. WBCP will also highlight Middle-earth in Las Vegas with a strong force of worldwide licensees supporting the long-awaited finale to “The Hobbit” Trilogy, “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.” Celebrating their landmark 75th anniversaries are the ever popular DC Comics Super Hero Batman and the beloved film classic “The Wizard of Oz,” among others. Celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year, “The Wizard of Oz” has attracted a number of licensing partners eager to honor the beloved property’s major milestone, including Tonner Doll, Madame Alexander, Mattel, Rubie’s Costumes, Tervis, Darice, Royal Chain, Enesco and Dylan’s Candy Bar – which recently collaborated with WBCP to earn the Guinness World Record for the largest candy sculpture – among many other licensees. From the Looney Tunes antics, the hilarious, heroic and mischievous Bugs Bunny everyone loves is back in “Wabbit – A Looney Tunes Production,” an all-new series featuring comedic shorts which will be a new offering in WBCP’s portfolio.
