Warner Bros. Consumer Products Appoints Alouette S.A. Authorized Licensed Retailer For Greece
(May 7, 2004 – Burbank, CA) – Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced today that they have appointed Alouette S.A. the company’s Authorized Licensed Retailer for Greece. As part of the agreement they have been granted the rights to open and operate “Warner Bros. Studios Stars” retail formats throughout the country.
“Warner Bros. Studios Stars” retail outlets are multi-property, multi-category flagship, freestanding stores, store-in-stores and kiosks. There are currently five stores up and running throughout Greece. The first flagship store is set to open in Athens in 2004. These retail outlets offer a diverse assortment of high quality merchandise inspired by the range of Warner Bros. Entertainment personalities, from the irreverence of the
Looney Tunes, the magic of Harry Potter, the mystery of Scooby-Doo, the force of The Powerpuff Girls, the thrill of The Matrix, the power of the DC Comics super heroes and much more.

Demonstrating its commitment to the Greek marketplace, Hellas Press has represented Warner Bros. Consumer Products licensing interests in this region for many years and has played a key role in forming the company’s partnership with Alouette S.A.

Alouette S.A. will create a Warner Bros. Entertainment ambience within their stores, which welcomes customers of all ages to purchase licensed products with all of their favorite characters. Within the stores, they will develop creative point-of-purchase displays, and promotions with give away premiums.

Alouette S.A. has been a licensee of Warner Bros. Consumer Products since 1999. They hold the license for Looney Tunes in the apparel category, Baby Looney Tunes for the infant-toddler series, Superman and Batman for fans of all ages. They also created a selective “Looney Tunes: Back In Action” product line-up, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Pictures’ feature film.
With a number of active merchandising deals for a variety of Warner Bros. Entertainment properties and years of licensing experience, Alouette S.A.’s relationship was recently extended to include direct-to-retail deals for “Warner Bros Studios Stars” retail locations.
