Telepictures Productions’ “Extra” Renewed Through 2017 by NBC-Owned Stations

(April 9, 2013 – Burbank, CA) – “Extra,” the popular syndicated entertainment newsmagazine currently in its 19th season, has been renewed by stations, including the NBC-owned stations, in more than 85% of the country through the 2016-17 season, it was announced today by Ken Werner, President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. The series will continue to air on eight NBC-owned stations, including WNBC (New York), KNBC (Los Angeles), WMAQ (Chicago), WCAU (Philadelphia), KXAS (Dallas-Fort Worth), KNTV (San Francisco Bay Area), WTVJ (Miami-Fort Lauderdale) and WVIT (Connecticut).
