Superman And Warner Bros. Consumer Products Fly High At 2006 Magic Marketplace
(February 16, 2006 - Burbank, CA) – Superman is as much of a fashion powerhouse as he is an entertainment icon and at the world’s largest apparel and accessory trade event, MAGIC Marketplace, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and licensees such as Raw-7, Priorities Junk Food, Scanty, GTO and others, will unveil their latest clothing and accessory lines, featuring hip new designs, inspired by the World’s Greatest Super Hero. MAGIC is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from February 21-24.
At this year’s show, attendees will get a glimpse of Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ fall 2006 collection highlighting new trend-setting product lines inspired by Warner Bros. Pictures’ summer 2006 release "Superman Returns." Specifically, the collection will include high-end character-savvy apparel featuring the Superman S-Shield, which, as a personal statement of strength and confidence, continues to be an iconic fashion symbol and hot trend among today’s tastemakers. In addition, the collection will include fashion pieces inspired by vintage character art from the DC Comics’ archives.
Additionally, Warner Bros. Consumer Products will host a dedicated Superman booth, located at the entrance of the Grand Lobby in the Las Vegas Convention Center, where apparel and accessories will be showcased from key Superman licensees. The booth will also feature an amazing Superman photo opportunity for show attendees. Visitors will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a part of the Superman lore by being photographed in a classic Superman comic book cover. Photos will be taken the first three days of MAGIC, February 21, 22 and 23. Superman fans will not want to miss out.
The MAGIC line-up will lead with high-end Superman-inspired gear from Priorities (Booth# YC14802) who will debut their brand new array of S-Shield fashion tops, thermals and zip-up hoodies for contemporary juniors, tweens and young men. The product will feature graphic designs and logos crafted with unique embellishments, vintage finishes and stitching details including a mixture of fabrications from sheer camouflages to jerseys and thermals. Raw-7 (Central Platform) will drive an international fashion movement with chic women’s fine gauge knits. Junk Food (Booth# JR12301) further complements the MAGIC lineup with fashion tops and bottoms for young men, juniors and girls. In addition, Scanty (Booth# YC14004) will show its signature pajamas and daywear for women. Graphic treatments across the various collections include reverse screen-printing, discharge printing, crystals and studs. Adding a touch of sparkle, GTO (Booth# AL21848) will bring twinkle and pizzazz to the line-up with its designer jewelry collection that ranges from moderately priced costume pieces to upscale pieces in sterling and 18K gold.

Rounding out the collection, product geared to mass, mid-tier and specialty chains will include
t-shirts and fashion tops from Giant (Booth #AL21368), Trevco (Booth #AL21053) and Changes (Booth #AL21362) for juniors, young men, boys and girls. Treatments will include sublimation printing, welds, gel inks and studs. In addition, Jerry Leigh (Booth #JR10909) will feature sportswear collections, as well as fashion tops for juniors and girls and C-Life (Booth #AL21362) will be showing sublimation tees, fashion tops, bottoms, and swimwear for boys. Briefly Stated (Booth #AL20647) will feature men's loungewear, neckwear and boxers, in addition to boy’s boxers and underwear. Headwear from Drew Pearson (Booth #ST31852) and Biodomes (Booth # AL2196) will feature looks for men, women, boys and girls.
