Statement from Warner Bros. Television to Fans Regarding “Southland”

(October 12, 2009 – Burbank, CA) - Thank you for contacting us to express your support for “Southland.” As you have read, we recently learned that NBC has decided not to air the second season of the show. Please keep in mind that while Warner Bros. Television produces the show, we do not own NBC and are therefore not in the position to make decisions for them regarding the programming of their series, no matter how passionately we want “Southland” to be on the air. We remain extremely proud of John Wells and the talented company of artists that brought “Southland” to the screen, and we thank you for your dedication to the program. # # #
