Season Six Of The Compelling Television Drama “One Tree Hill” Arrives On DVD August 25, 2009 From Warner Home Video
(June 2, 2009 – Burbank, CA) – Consumers will be swept away by the romance, drama and captivating plotlines that comprise the sixth season of “One Tree Hill,” which will be released on DVD by Warner Home Video (WHV) August 25, 2009. “One Tree Hill: The Complete Sixth Season” will feature all 24 episodes from the series’ sixth season and almost three hours of special features. This release will retail for $59.98 SRP. Order due date has been set for July 21, 2009.
“One Tree Hill” kicks off its sixth year with a whirlwind of unresolved storylines that keep TV fans engaged until the season’s final episode. Even the newest of viewers will find themselves easily wrapped up in the drama’s powerful, character-driven stories.
During season six, the denizens of Tree Hill are faced with some of their biggest challenges. Handsome Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray) embarks on the journey of a lifetime with the woman he chose to love. Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) continues to work on his comeback as a professional athlete with ambitions to play in the NBA. Brooke’s (Sophia Bush) battle with her unscrupulous mother Victoria (Daphne Zuniga) over the enormously successful apparel line Clothes Over Bros. heats up. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) continues to dream of success in the music business. Skills (Antwon Tanner) and Deb’s (Barbara Alyn Woods) hook-up threatens to become “un-hooked.” Mouth (Lee Norris) and Millicent (Lisa Goldstein) wrestle with leaving Tree Hill and Dan’s (Paul Johansson) life hangs in the balance.
“One Tree Hill” started its sixth season with the show’s highest rated premiere since Season Two among its core demo, and continues to be a successful and popular franchise. “One Tree Hill” originally premiered September 23, 2003 on The WB. Created by Mark Schwahn, the series is from Mastermind Laboratories, Tollin/Robbins Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Season six was executive produced by Schwahn (“Coach Carter,” “The Perfect Score”); Joe Davola, Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins (all three: “Smallville,” “Coach Carter,” “What I Like About You”); and Greg Prange (“Dawson’s Creek,” “Nash Bridges”).
