Sandy Yi Promoted To Vice President Of Marketing For Warner Bros. Consumer Products

(October 23, 2002 – Burbank, CA) – Sandy Yi has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, it was announced today by Jordan Sollitto, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Reporting to Sollitto, Yi is responsible for overseeing all facets of design, development and implementation of marketing plans and programs for Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ important theatrical properties, with an emphasis on Harry Potter. Her duties also include developing strategies, creating plans and directing the development of all marketing and promotional materials, as well as ongoing research related to the properties. “Sandy has been instrumental in the success of the Harry Potter merchandising programs,” said Sollitto. “She has tremendous creativity and is an excellent leader and her strong capabilities and enormous success to date ensure that she will be invaluable in her new role.” Yi spent the last four years as Director of Marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, where she began her job by overseeing marketing activities related to DC Comics and theatrical properties including Harry Potter. Her responsibilities included the development of day-to-day worldwide marketing strategies as they related to Warner Bros. Consumer Products and its associated partners. Prior to joining Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Yi held a position as Director of Marketing and Acquisitions for a Korea-based licensing agency, handling publishing and media-based properties such as Saban and Sesame Workshop titles. Yi holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Smith College in Northhampton, MA. Warner Bros.
