Rosemary Markson Named Senior Vice President, TV and Special Interest Marketing, Warner Home Video
(March 8, 2012 – Burbank, CA) – Rosemary Markson has been appointed to Senior Vice President, TV and Special Interest Marketing, Warner Home Video, it was announced today by Jeff Brown, Executive Vice President and General Manager, TV, Family & Animation, Warner Home Video.
In her newly expanded role, Markson will have overall responsibility for developing business-building consumer and retail strategies for the TV on DVD business, both new release and catalog. Markson will continue to lead the team that manages the P&L for TV and Special Interest home video with specific responsibility for product development, consumer marketing, retail programs, pricing, advertising and promotion spending, and forecasting. She is also responsible for managing talent and studio relationships and ensuring that key content partners, including Turner and the BBC, are properly serviced.

Working with field sales, Markson and her team will continue to develop key account TV plans for all major accounts. She will also support Warner Bros. Digital Distribution on digital initiatives and will serve as a key liaison between Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group and WBTV regarding marketing planning and cross-divisional TV promotional initiatives.
Markson joined Warner Home Video in 1998 as Marketing Manager and was later promoted to Marketing Director where she led the Studio’s market entry into the TV on DVD business, establishing a strong business plan and propelling the studio to market leadership in the category. Markson steps up from her previous position as Vice President, TV and Special Interest Marketing. She holds a B.S. from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
