Adults and kids will be filled with Christmas spirit after watching the “Classic Christmas Favorites” Collection, a delightful four-disc set presented in unique, eye-catching, collectible packaging that showcases a total of 10 memorable animated holiday specials as well as bonus material for a total of over six hours of feature content and two hours of enhanced content. • “How the Grinch Stole Christmas Deluxe Edition” -- Originally directed by animation genius and cartoon legend Chuck Jones, this Dr. Seuss’s classic tells the story of the mean and hateful Grinch who devises a plan to steal Christmas away from the Whos of Whoville. This remastered holiday classic will be enjoyed by the entire family.
• “The Year Without a Santa Claus Deluxe Edition” -- This newly remastered classic recounts the story of the year Santa Claus decides to take a vacation from Christmas.
• “Rudolph’s Shiny New Year” -- When the baby New Year named Happy goes missing, Father Time (voiced by Red Skelton) asks Rudolph to find him before midnight on New Year’s Eve.
• “Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey” -- Back in the days of the Roman Empire, a small donkey named Nestor who is teased mercilessly about his abnormally long ears, becomes a hero when he is chosen by Mary and Joseph to take them to Bethlehem where Mary gives birth to baby Jesus.
• “Frosty’s Winter Wonderland” -- When Frosty feels lonely, the kids think of making him a wife named Crystal.
• “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” -- The citizens of a small town are up in arms when Santa Claus decides to take them off his gift delivery schedule after he receives an anonymous letter claiming he does not exist.
• “Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July” -- Frosty and his family are given magic amulets by the evil Wizard Winterbolt so they won’t melt as they attend the circus on the Fourth of July where Rudolph is the star, however, plans to return to the North Pole backfire due to Winterbolt’s evil plan. Will Frosty get back to the North Pole before it’s too late?
• “Leprechaun’s Christmas Gold” -- The story of an Irish sailor who meets a leprechaun named Blarney (Art Carney) on Christmas Eve and unwittingly unleashes a banshee who wants to steal Blarney’s Christmas gold.
• “Pinocchio’s Christmas” – Not knowing better during Pinocchio first Christmas, he sells the book Geppetto gives him for present money, but Cat and Fox trick him out of it.
• “Stingiest Man in Town” -- An animated version of the famous Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol.”
“Jack Frost” is sure to warm everyone’s hearts with the first ever re-mastered Deluxe Edition DVD release of the classic, stop-motion animation feature “Jack Frost.” From the animation sorcerers at the Rankin/Bass studios, this enchanting holiday perennial about the crafty cold-weather elf. This special tells the story of Jack Frost, who one fateful winter, visits the village of January Junction, where he falls head-over-snowflakes in love with pretty maiden Elisa. Turning into a human boy, Jack begins his courtship, only to lose Elisa to the evil clutches of Kubla Kraus the Cossack. Teamed up with his elfin friends, Jack must use all his icy powers to free Elisa from Kubla’s army of mechanical men. Among the featured voices are Buddy Hackett, as narrator Pardon-Me-Pete the groundhog, Robert Morse as Jack and Larry Storch as Papa.
