Production Begins On “Another Cinderella Story” For Warner Premiere

(November 1, 2007 – Burbank, CA) - Principal photography is underway for Warner Premiere’s teen romantic comedy “Another Cinderella Story” in Vancouver, B.C. Damon Santostefano (“Bring It On Again”) will direct a script by Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott and Dylan Sellers will produce with Clifford Werber executive producing. Set to star in the lead roles are Selena Gomez, star of the Disney Channel’s new hit television show “Wizard’s of Waverly Place” and actor/ singer Drew Seeley from “High School Musical: The Concert.” Also joining the cast as Dominique, the evil legal guardian, is Jane Lynch (“Two and a Half Men,” “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”). “We are thrilled to continue building upon this beloved and timeless tale with an incredibly enthusiastic cast of young superstars, and veteran performers and filmmakers,” said Diane Nelson, President, Warner Premiere. “Another Cinderella Story” is a modern-day take on the classic Cinderella story in the same vein as the 2004 film “A Cinderella Story” which starred Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray. In “Another Cinderella Story” the story centers on a down on her luck high school dancer (Gomez) who seeks the love of a charming prince (a popular pop singer who has enrolled at Beverly Hills High School, played by Seeley) against the wishes of her evil, legal guardian (Lynch).
