Nairi Gardiner Promoted To Senior Vice President, Finance And Operations For Warner Bros. Consumer Products

(October 24, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – Nairi Gardiner has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, it was announced today by George Jones, President, Worldwide Licensing and Warner Bros. Studio Stores. In her new position, Gardiner’s role has been expanded to include handling roll out of licensee and agent audits worldwide. Additionally, she will be responsible for Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ business systems initiatives and will oversee strategic planning for the division. “Nairi has been an integral member of Warner Bros. Consumer Products since she joined the company,” said George Jones. “With a compelling financial and marketing background, she has years of relevant experience that reinforce her ability to administer and strengthen the division’s finance and operations programs, as well as provide the necessary leadership to guide our strategic planning.” Gardiner joined Warner Bros. Consumer Products in 1990 as Controller. Within four years, she was promoted to Vice President and Group Controller, broadening her duties to include supervision and management of corporate accounting for International and Domestic Theatrical Distribution. In 1997, she became Vice President, Finance for Warner Bros. Consumer Products where she was responsible for financial planning and reporting, credit and collections and management and oversight of international finance functions. Before joining Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Gardiner held management positions at Micropolis Corporation and the prestigious accounting firm, Price Waterhouse. She holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Stanford University. Warner Bros.
