Mic Kramer Named Senior Vice President, International Publicity, Warner Bros. Pictures
(March 10, 2003 – Burbank, CA) – Mic Kramer has been promoted to Senior Vice President, International Publicity, Warner Bros. Pictures. The announcement was made today by Sue Kroll, President, International Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures.
Based in Burbank, CA, Kramer will continue to report to Kroll and be responsible for creating and overseeing publicity campaigns for Warner Bros. Pictures’ international feature film releases. Additionally, his responsibilities have been expanded to include overseeing international theatrical trade publicity, media promotions and local market production publicity.
“Mic has played an integral part in the accomplishments of the international marketing department over the past five years and I’m confident in his abilities to successfully accommodate his more extensive role,” said Kroll.
Kramer previously held the title of Vice President, International Publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures, which he joined in 1998. During his tenure, he oversaw the worldwide campaigns on a wide slate of films including “The Matrix,” “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” “Ocean’s Eleven,” and “Scooby Doo.”
He joined Warner Bros. from New Line Cinema where, from 1995-1998, he held the title of Vice President of Publicity and oversaw the domestic and international publicity efforts for such films as “Lost in Space,” “Wag the Dog,” “Boogie Nights,” “Seven,” “Dumb and Dumber” and “The Mask.” Kramer joined New Line Cinema in 1993 as Director of International Publicity.
Prior to New Line Cinema, he was an Account Executive and then an Account Director at Dennis Davidson & Associates, where he created international publicity campaigns for such clients as New Line Cinema, Castle Rock Entertainment and Fox International.
