Maribeth Towers-Toth Named Vice President Of Apparel And Accessories For Warner Bros. Consumer Products
(December 17, 2001 – Burbank, CA) – Maribeth Towers-Toth has been appointed Vice President of Apparel and Accessories for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, it was announced today by Karen McTier, Executive Vice President of Domestic Licensing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
Reporting to McTier, Towers-Toth will develop and implement long-term licensing and sales strategies for apparel, accessories and footwear categories and supervise the licensing activities in these categories. She will also be responsible for overseeing licensees’ creative product development, marketing and line plans and sales progress for licensed products. Additionally, Towers-Toth will identify appropriate top manufacturers for a variety of Warner Bros. properties and create brand-building programs with marketing, retail business development, creative services and key licensees.
For Towers-Toth, who most recently served as Vice President of Retail Development at Saban Entertainment, the appointment brings her back to Warner Bros. Consumer Products where she spent four years in the division, first as an Account Executive in Retail Business Development and then as a Senior Account Executive in the Sales department of Apparel Licensing.

Towers-Toth has more than 17 years experience in consumer products and retailing. Her background includes teaching and developing curriculum at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, for marketing, merchandise mathematics and trend forecasting. In addition to teaching, she was an apparel buyer for six years at department stores including Robinsons May.
Towers-Toth holds an MBA degree in International Marketing and Finance from Pepperdine University, a BS degree in Business Administration and Education from the University of Minnesota and has served on the Board of Directors of the Art Museum Council for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
