Mara Lopez Named Vice President, Post Production, Warner Bros. Television
(September 30, 2003 – Burbank, CA) - Mara Lopez has been hired in the position of Vice President, Post Production, Warner Bros. Television, it was announced today by Judith Zaylor, Executive Vice President, Production.
In her new position, Lopez is responsible for all post production-related activities on all Warner Bros. Television series as well as movies of the week and mini-series. She moves into the VP position previously occupied by Blake McCormick, who will continue to serve as a consultant for the company.
Prior to joining Warner Bros. Television, Lopez spent four years at DreamWorks SKG as a post production executive, where she supervised post production of such series as “Steven Spielberg’s Taken,” “The Job” and “Freaks & Geeks.”
Lopez began her career as an Associate Producer, working on a variety of series including “Webster,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” and “Arsenio.”
Lopez earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. # # #
