Love Is Back On The Air On The WB’s Sunday As Romantic Comedy “For Your Love” Returns To The Line-Up

(March 8, 2001 – Burbank, CA) – Romantic comedy “FOR YOUR LOVE” makes its return to The WB’s schedule this Sunday, March 11 with an original episode at 8:30 p.m. ET and a bonus episode at 9:30 p.m. ET. The double runs will air for three weeks, concluding on Sunday, March 25, making way for the premiere of the animated comedy, “THE OBLONGS” on April 1. “FOR YOUR LOVE” will then move into its regular time period of 9:30 p.m. ET on Sundays. The WB will air 32 original episodes of “FOR YOUR LOVE” during this season and next. Twelve episodes are scheduled to run through May, with the remaining 20 ready for the 2001-2002 season. “FOR YOUR LOVE,” a multi-ethnic relationship comedy, was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Comedy Series,” and Holly Robinson Peete, one of the series’ stars, was nominated for “Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series” for the second straight year. The additional episodes bring “FOR YOUR LOVE’s” grand total to 87 episodes, more than enough for syndication, making it the eighth comedy on The WB to be eligible for syndication, joining “THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW,” “THE JAMIE FOXX SHOW,” “UNHAPPILY EVER AFTER,” “THE WAYANS BROS.,” “SISTER, SISTER,” “THE PARENT ’HOOD” and “SABRINA, THE TEENAGE WITCH.” “FOR YOUR LOVE” was created by executive producer Yvette Lee Bowser and is produced by SisterLee Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
