Living Hunts Down Sexy Assassins And Us Marshals In Exclusive Primetime Series Deal With Warner Bros. International Television Distribution

(July 26, 2010 – London and Burbank, CA) – The Living TV Group today announced an exclusive two-show deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) that will bring two of the hottest and most sought-after dramas from this year’s LA Screenings – “Nikita,” starring international action star Maggie Q (“Mission: Impossible III”) and “Chase,” produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television – to entertainment channel LIVING. The announcement was made today by The Living TV Group’s Head of Acquisitions, Amy Barham, and Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. • “Nikita” will air on LIVING in Autumn 2010, shortly after its US premiere on The CW Network, with LIVING following closely on its heels so UK viewers can see the hotly anticipated series soon thereafter • “Chase,” which will be renamed for the UK market, will air from 2011 Amy Barham said, "‘Nikita’ is the hottest, most action-packed new drama of the season with an amazingly strong female lead that we know will excite and engage Living's audiences this autumn. We're thrilled to be able to bring it exclusively to the channel. ‘Chase’ will follow in 2011, providing a new favorite show for all of our procedural fans." Jeffrey Schlesinger said, “Our series have enjoyed great success on Living. This is in no small part because the network truly invests in smart scheduling and creative marketing support around their programming. We believe the same will hold true for ‘Nikita’ and ‘Chase,’ two high-quality, compelling shows that fit perfectly into the programming mix of LIVING and its young audience.” “Nikita” is a young, sexy, punchy addition to LIVING and the centerpiece of the autumn primetime schedule. International action star Maggie Q (“Mission: Impossible III,” “Live Free or Die Hard”) takes the title role, Nikita, as a trained assassin gone rogue. Division is an ultra-secret government agency whose operatives are recruited young people with severed ties to family, friends and society. Trained to be invisible assassins, no one ever leaves Division – except the beautiful and deadly Nikita, who has managed to escape and has revenge on her mind. Throughout the series, Nikita makes it her mission to undermine the now-corrupt organization. A force to be reckoned with, the rogue Nikita taunts Division, staying on their radar, but always that one step ahead. Yet as determined as Nikita is to bring down her former agency, there are those just as determined to stop her, including Division's newest recruit, Alex, played by Lyndsy Fonseca, (“Kick-Ass,” “Desperate Housewives”), a beautiful young woman who seems destined to replace Nikita as their next top operative. In addition to Maggie Q and Fonseca, Shane West (“ER”), Aaron Stanford (“X2: X-Men United”), with Melinda Clarke (“The O.C.,” “The Vampire Diaries”) and Xander Berkeley (“24,” “Taken”) also star. The series is executive produced by Craig Silverstein (“Bones”), Danny Cannon (the “CSI” series), McG (“Supernatural,” “Terminator Salvation”) and Peter Johnson (“Supernatural,” “Human Target”). “Nikita” is from Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television, and is distributed around the world by Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. Also joining LIVING’s raft of premiere dramas is “Chase,” which will air from 2011. From Emmy® Award–winning executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer and executive producer Jennifer Johnson (“Cold Case”), “Chase” is a lightning-fast-paced drama that drops viewers smack into the middle of a game of cat and mouse as a team of US marshals hunts down America's most dangerous fugitives. Kelli Giddish (“Past Life”) stars as US Marshal Annie Frost, a strong, resourceful, cowboy boot–wearing deputy whose sharp mind and unique Texas upbringing help her track down these violent criminals on the run. Cole Hauser (“K-Ville”), Amaury Nolasco (“Prison Break”), Rose Rollins (“The L Word”) and Jesse Metcalfe (“Desperate Housewives”) also star as members of Annie's elite team. “Chase” is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Warner Bros. Television, and is distributed around the world by Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The executive producers of the series are Bruckheimer (the “CSI” series), Jonathan Littman (the “CSI” series) and Johnson. KristieAnne Reed (“Dark Blue”) is the co-executive producer. David Nutter (“The Mentalist”) directed and receives executive producer credit on the pilot episode. About LIVING LIVING is the ultimate entertainment destination on TV.
