Kids’ WB! Gets Ready For “June Bloom” With Two Fun Sweepstakes Giving Away More Than 1,000 Prizes

(May 28, 2002 – Burbank, CA) — Kids’ WB! highlights its new hot summer schedule with a June “bloom” give-away, featuring two fun-filled sweepstakes and more than one thousand thrilling prizes. During this week of May 27-31, the “Wizards’ Week 2 Sweepstakes” offers two hundred kids the chance to win the “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™” DVD. On Saturday, June 1, the “Super Stuffed Saturday Sweepstakes” gives kids the opportunity to win eight hundred prizes from the high-adventure series “Rescue Heroes: Global Response Team” during the Saturday morning line-up (8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET). Through Friday, May 31, the “Wizards’ Week 2 Sweepstakes” will offer kids the chance to win during the Monday-Friday line-up (3:00-5:00 p.m.). Each day, Kids’ WB! will reveal a mystery item on-air. When the viewer finds the mystery item, they may enter the “Wizards’ Week 2 Sweepstakes” by logging onto www.KidsWB.com by Monday, June 3, or by sending in a postcard postmarked by Monday, June 3 with the known magical item. Two hundred first prize winners will receive a copy of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” on DVD. In addition, one grand-prize winner will receive the DVD and a DVD player. On Saturday, June 1, Kids’ WB!’s popular “Super Stuffed Saturday Sweepstakes” rounds out the week with eight hundred opportunities to win. During each hour, kids will be invited to locate the secret code on-air in order to be eligible to win the prize for that hour.
