Ken Burns’s “Jazz” Available As A Deluxe Box Set From PBS Home Video And Warner Home Video
(October 19, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – On January 2, 2001, PBS Home Video and Warner Home Video (WHV) present “Jazz,” the new and highly praised work from award-winning filmmaker Ken Burns. “Jazz” is the final installment in Burns’s trilogy on American life, which began with “The Civil War” and continued with “Baseball.” “Jazz" is available as a ten-VHS set and a ten-DVD set ($149.88 VHS SRP/$199.92 DVD SRP), both including exclusive, never-before-seen footage. The film’s television premiere – expected to be seen by more than 35 million viewers – is a General Motors Mark of Excellence Presentation and will be aired in ten installments between January 8 and January 31, 2001.
