Karen Miller Appointed Vice President, Property Acquisitions For Warner Bros. Consumer Products

(November 14, 2000 – Burbank, CA) - Karen Miller has joined Warner Bros. Consumer Products as Vice President of Property Acquisitions, it was announced today by Dan Romanelli, President, Worldwide Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Reporting directly to Romanelli, Miller will provide focus and leadership in identifying and analyzing potential properties for development, which Warner Bros. Consumer Products can then build into worldwide licensing and merchandising franchises. “We are delighted that Karen has joined our highly successful and experienced business team,” said Dan Romanelli. “With an entertainment background and a wealth of knowledge and skill, she will be integral in further developing our consumer products businesses and identifying new properties that can grow to be valuable assets for the company in the future.” In her new role, Miller will create detailed analyses of children’s books, television shows and video games to determine their potential for brand development. Additionally, she will be responsible for reviewing or acquiring options for animation properties and for acquisition and development of publishing, television, interactive or feature film properties that have consumer products potential. With a proven track record in production, Miller has been with Warner Bros. as a part of Miller-Boyett-Warren Productions for 13 years, where she produced primetime television situation comedies for the WB Network including “Oblongs,” “Baby Blues” and “Kirk.” Miller’s experience also includes production work on such popular Warner Bros. television shows as “Full House,” “Family Matters,” “Perfect Strangers” and “Step By Step.” She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television and Broadcast Management.
