Jim Gewert Named Executive Vice President Of Worldwide Finance, Planning And Systems For Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group

(April 19, 2010 – Burbank, CA) – Jim Gewert has been named Executive Vice President, Worldwide Finance, Planning and Systems, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, it was announced today by Kevin Tsujihara, President, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. In his new post, Gewert will oversee worldwide finance for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, which encompasses Warner Home Video, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. As a key member of the executive management team, he will be responsible for translating the division’s strategic vision into concrete financial operating plans; this includes establishing and evaluating business metrics and implementing decisions that will increase profitability. Gewert will also lead the evaluation of acquisitions, investments, partnerships and new business models and drive the negotiation and execution of deals. “Jim is a proven leader in his field and we are fortunate to welcome such an accomplished professional to our team,” said Tsujihara. “Warner Bros. As head of finance for this broad group, he oversaw all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for various businesses including TBS, TNT, Turner Classic Movies, truTV, Peachtree TV, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Adult Swim, NBA TV, NBA.com, NASCAR.com and PGATOUR.com. Previously, Gewert served as Executive Vice President of Finance for Domestic Sales and Distribution for TBS, Inc.
