A TREAT-FILLED NEW LINE-UP: Beginning on Saturday, October 18, to get a jump-start on Halloween in ghoulish ghost style, Kids’ WB! will give viewers an exciting treat when it kicks-off its new morning line-up with the white-hot “Yu-Gi-Oh!” at 8:00 a.m. ET and “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” moves to the 8:30 a.m. ET time slot. SOLVE THE TRICK AND GET THE TREAT: On Saturday, October 18, to celebrate the move of “What’s New Scooby-Doo?,” kids will have the chance to join the famous Scooby-Doo crime-fighting crew when Kids’ WB! hosts the first-ever Scooby-Doo Unsolved Mystery episode – which invites kids to help crack the case to win cool loot! Kids’ WB! and Warner Bros. Consumer Products are teaming up for “Scooby-Doo’s Unsolved Mystery Sweepstakes,” giving 5 lucky Grand Prize mystery solvers an Xbox™ video game system and one THQ “Scooby-Doo!™ Night of 100 Frights” video game for Xbox™. Five hundred first prize case-solving winners also will receive the “Scooby-Doo!™ Night of 100 Frights” video game for Xbox™. In the unsolved “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” mystery episode, entitled “The Vampire Strikes Back” (8:30 a.m. ET), the sleuthing adventure begins when the Scooby gang travels to a castle in Transylvania to watch their friends and Goth band, The Hex Girls, shoot a music video. The shoot is quickly interrupted by an unexpected visit from an unstoppable vampire, who obviously wants them out. Working together, the gang conspires – with Daphne even posing as a vampire-bride-to-be – in an attempt to trap the vampire who seems to mysteriously reappear in spite of being caught…is he working alone or does he have an accomplice? Kids’ WB! invites viewers to help solve the mystery and be eligible to win in “Scooby-Doo’s Unsolved Mystery Sweepstakes,” as viewers can select who they think the villain is and log in their answers at www.KidsWB.com. On Saturday, October 25, the highly anticipated mystery will be unraveled on-air and the villain will be revealed, along with the names of the 5 Grand Prize winners. IT’S A SCREAMIN’ HA-HA-HALLOWEEN ON KIDS’ W-BOO!: On Saturday, October 25, Kids’ WB! will present the 2nd annual “Halloween Duel of Screams” throughout the morning (8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET). The network will bring kids together for the ultimate duel with their favorite Kids’ WB! characters using special “scream cards” – that actually feature real kids from across the country – with only one character and one scream card emerging victorious. Local WB affiliates have submitted the hair-raising screams of Kids’ WB! viewers in their market to be featured on the network. From now until the morning of October 25, kids are asked to go online to www.KidsWB.com and vote for their favorite shrieks, choosing from among 24 spine-tingling kid screamers. The top screechers will appear in the “Halloween Duel of Screams” on-air competition – with one ultimate screamer left standing at the end of the morning. Leading up to this chilling event, Kids’ WB! will feature a special one-week Monday-Friday airing of “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” during the week of October 20-24, in the “Classic Scooby-Doo” 3:00 p.m. ET time period. GET IN THE GAME: Beginning Monday, October 27, kids will have the chance to “get inside the action” with the “Kids’ WB! Get in the Game Sweepstakes.” The national promotion, sponsored by Kids’ WB! and Midway®, will award one Grand Prize winner the opportunity to be featured in an upcoming Midway® video game! Five hundred first prize winners will receive the new “Ozzy & Drix” video game on GameBoy® Advance. To win, kids will need to watch Kids’ WB!’s Monday-Friday afternoon line-up the week of October 27-31, and identify the secret code word revealed each day. Entries can be submitted by logging onto www.KidsWB.com or by sending in a postcard. OCTOBER IS FILLED WITH HEART-POUNDING PROGRAMMING ON KIDS’ WB!: On Saturday, October 18, the end draws near in the final episodes of “Pokémon: Master Quest” (10:00 a.m. ET). In the enchanting episode “Gotta Catch Ya Later,” Ash bids farewell to his best friends and longtime traveling companions, Misty and Brock, when they are unexpectedly called back home…and Ash returns – but only for a quick change of clothes, before setting out again. In the season finale episode, “Hoenn Alone,” airing on Saturday, October 25, Ash and his best friend Pikachu embark on a new journey as he continues pursuing his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master. Ash will strive to overcome unforeseen obstacles and gain wisdom – hoping to get one step closer to achieving his goal. In the X-plosive 2-part conclusion of the Apocalypse story-arc on “X-Men: Evolution” (11:30 a.m. ET), “Ascension – Part 1,” airing October 18, and “Ascension – Part 2,” airing October 25, the first of all mutant-kind, Apocalypse enters the final stages of his life-long mission – to wipe out all of humankind. Gaining full mind-control over the four most powerful mutants on Earth, he unveils his horsemen that he has selected to help him complete his destiny. As the line between good and evil is blurred, relationships will be tested and strained to the breaking point as friends, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons are pitted against each other – and every character from the past, good and bad, returns for this culminating face-off…that will decide the fate of all humans and mutants on the planet. On Saturday, October 25, during the “Screamin’ Ha-Ha-Halloween Horrors” morning line-up, “Jackie Chan Adventures” (9:00 a.m. ET) celebrates Halloween in style in the episode “Fright Fight Night.” When Paco is determined to have a scarier costume than Jade, he decides to try on one of the mystical Oni Masks…not realizing the true powers the mask holds within. Transforming into the mask’s “demon” Paco, he kidnaps Jade, trying to prove he has the most frightening costume. Meanwhile, Uncle and Tohru mistakenly give the chi spell ingredient to a “trick or treat”-er … will Uncle be able to retrieve the ingredient? Will “demon” Paco be convinced to remove the mask? Also in a very special original episode of “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” (8:30 a.m. ET), from series co-creator and Oscar nominated and Emmy Award-winning producer Joseph Barbera, entitled “Homeward Hound,” six priceless puppies from a prize-winning show dog are dog-napped along with eye-witness Scooby from a dog show. It’s up to the Scooby crime-solving gang to rescue them and Scooby-Doo! Additionally, two original episodes of “Yu-Gi-Oh!” will round-off the morning. At 8:00 a.m. ET in “The Tomb-Keepers Secret,” Marik’s evil grows and Ishizu reveals the secrets of her bloodline to him…can Yugi save Marik from the edge of darkness – or is he beyond salvation? Then at 11:00 a.m. ET in “Showdown in the Shadows – Part 1,” Bakura and Marik duel for control of the Millennium Rod and the Millennium Ring…and the loser will be trapped in the shadows forever!
