Diane Nelson Promoted To Senior Vice President, Family Entertainment, Warner Bros. Corporate Marketing & Planning
(February 28, 2001 - Burbank, CA) - Diane Nelson has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Family Entertainment, Warner Bros. Corporate Marketing & Planning, it was announced today by Sandy Reisenbach, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Planning, Warner Bros.
In her new post, Nelson reports to Reisenbach and will be responsible for the development and management of the Company’s children’s and family brands, with a special focus and emphasis on the “Harry Potter” property, for which she serves as the global brand manager across all of Warner Bros.’ business units.
“Diane has been integral in developing and implementing our kids’ brand strategy, and with shaping and executing the all-important ‘Harry Potter’ franchise,” said Reisenbach. “We will continue to rely on her expertise, experience and enthusiasm as we increase our family entertainment efforts.”
Nelson joined Warner Bros. in 1996 as Director, Corporate Promotions and rapidly moved up to Vice President, Corporate Promotions and most recently to Vice President, Family Entertainment. Prior to Warner Bros., she served as Director, National Promotions at Walt Disney Records. Nelson has also served as an Account Supervisor with Foote, Cone & Belding Advertising in San Francisco. # # #
